What is a Window Jamb Extension?

The window jamb is the space between the window and the interior walls that would need finished if your new windows did not include jambs.  Our PVC (Vinyl) Window Jamb Extensions are the quick and stress free solution to finishing off your window jambs. Custom made to fit your measurements, we accommodate any depth required and any length up to 10'.  Gone are the days of MDF jambs that require painting and often get wet and rot in only a few years. 

Using our W.J.E. order form, you give us your height, width and depth of each window. We manufacture your W.J.E. to fit perfectly against your wall (despite warps in the wall) eliminating the need to router the W.J.E. to fit your window trim.

After receiving your measurements of the length, width and depth of your window, we manufacture our PVC W.J.E.  to fit your windows and pre-assemble them so you simply lift them into place. 

PVC Window Jamb Extensions are easy to install. Simply apply the supplied specialty silicone to the window and put the preassembled W.J.E. in place. When the window jamb is in place, secure using our unique clips which eliminate the need for fasteners through the PVC face. Once the silicone is set, remove the clips to reuse.

Finishing off window jambs is a time consuming and labour intensive task that quite frankly, no one has time for. Professional finishers have far more tasks to tend to and homeowners dread the task of doing it with potentially minimal tools on hand.

Our simplified solution solves this problem for both builders and homeowners alike. 

Now that the clips are removed, the window is ready for trim. 

Our PVC W.J.E. allow the home owner to achieve higher efficiency by spray foaming behind the jamb if desired.
